Siemens to create a robotics research center in China

Almaty. September 15. Silkroadnews – Siemens will create a robotics research center in China, the US News & World Report informs.
“German industrial group Siemens said on Thursday it was setting up a robotics research center in China, the world's biggest market for industrial robots,” the report said.
The Siemens research center at Tsinghua University in Beijing is said to focus on integrating mechanics and electronics, cooperation of people and robots and use of artificial intelligence in robotic controllers. It is reported that about 14% of Siemens sales are sales of digital industrial equipment and software, which is one of the fastest growing business of the company. Other businesses of the industrial group are in the fields of energy, transport and health.
According to the publication, there are 20 Siemens research centers in China, employing more than 4,500 scientists and engineers.
