Snap presidential elections in Kazakhstan will be held on April 26

Astana. February 26. Silkroadnews - snap presidential elections in Kazakhstan will be held on 26 April. This was stated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev in his address to the people of Kazakhstan.
A decision, on his participation in the upcoming elections, Nazarbayev will take later.
As reported earlier KazTAG, on February 14, members of the Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan (APK) appealed to the Parliament to take the initiative to hold early presidential elections in Kazakhstan. The initiative  was supported by deputies of Majilis and Senate. Later, the Chairman of the Senate K.Tokayev asked the Constitutional Council to clarify the regulations purpose of early elections.
Meanwhile, the Constitutional Council clarified that by the rules of paragraph 3.1, Article 41 of the Constitution of RK the President of Kazakhstan has "the exclusive right to unilaterally appoint early presidential elections".
It was reported that for presidential election in 2016, was planned to allocate 5 billion tenge. However, how much will be spent on snap presidential election in 2015, is difficult to tell.
