Solar powerhouse with the capacity of 130 MW are planning to build in Uzbekistan
Tashkent. June 17. Silkroadnews - Solar powerhouse with the capacity of 130 MW is planned to be build in Karmanin Navoi in Uzbekistan, reports UzTAG.
"Capacity of the powerhouse will reach about 130 megawatts, which is the highest power of such stations in Uzbekistan," - says the publication.
According to experts, achieving of this indicator was due to the unique climatic conditions in the region, as well as the high demand for electricity from manufacture “Navoi”.
Such construction plan was earlier proposed by Russian "Lukoil" company.
Currently first solar photovoltaic power plant of 100 MW is already under construction in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
