Solar station 30 mw in capacity to be constructed in Iran
Almaty. July 27. Silkroadnews - The authorities of Iran have signed a contract with the investors from Switzerland and Italy for construction of the biggest solar station in the state, reports the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG).
The capacity of the power station will make 30 mw, the total investments volume- $40 mln. The station will be constructed in the province of Northern Horasan. Managing director of the energy department of the province Alirizo Sabury said the construction will be started in four weeks.
"The organization for renewable energy of Iran has concluded a contract with European companies for construction of a solar power station in the Iranian province. The first stage of the project with 30 mw capacity will be constructed on 60 hectares territory, it will provide electric power to the aluminum plant in the city of Djordjram," he said.
He indicated the necessity of use of the local equipment in the time of construction. All the equipment except for the inventors and solar panels will be supplied by the Iranian manufacturers.
