Sooronbai Jeenbekov became prime minister of Kyrgyzstan
Almaty. April 13. Silkroadnews – Sooronbai Jeenbekov got named as the 29th prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, KyrTAG informs.
S. Jeenbekov candidacy and the government cabinet he proposed were supported unanimously.
57-year-old S. Jeenbekov became the 29th prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic since 1991.
As previously reported, his candidature was nominated by the Social Democratic Party and supported by all six parties of the Jogorku Kenesh.
His previous position was the deputy head of the presidential administration of Kyrgyzstan.
To remind, the former prime minister Temir Sariyev voluntarily resigned due to the scandal around the tender for construction of the road Balykchy-Korumdu.
