Speaker of the Senate of Kazakhstan discussed with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom the situation in Ukraine

Almaty. August 19. Silkroadnews - Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev discussed with British Ambassador Carolyn Brown situation in Ukraine, reports the press service of the Senate.
"President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev received British Ambassador Carolyn Brown in Kazakhstan. K.Braun expressed concern about the continuing escalation of the conflict in Ukraine", - said in a statement on Tuesday.
It is noted that K.Tokayev underlined the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev's efforts to find a way out of the current crisis.
In addition, it is reported that K.Tokayev noted the importance of the visit of British Prime Minister David Cameron in Kazakhstan last summer and called for further development of contacts between parliamentarians of the two countries on a bilateral basis and within the framework of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
