Special Services and government not to look into origins of money invested in Kazakh tourism
Astana. June 9. Silkroadnews - Special Services and the government are not to look into the origins of money invested in Kazakh tourism industry. This was reported by the chairman of the Tourism Committee of Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, Marat Igaliyev.
"...we are considering such options as tax preference items for investors and amnesty of capital. We have Turkey's path as an example. They announced that the origin of all capital invested in their tourism industry is not to be investigated neither by special services nor by the government. They received around USD 60 bln for the development of their tourism sector because of that innovative approach", Mister Igaliyev said at the round table dedicated to the Day of Tourism Support.
Marat Igaliyev said that according to the optimistic outlook, additional USD 1.5 bln of government investment might be required before 2020.
