Astana. July 3. Silkroadnews - President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Criminal Code, introducing criminal responsibility for spreading rumors, the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.

Also the president signed a law "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on the improvement of the criminal law," aimed at bringing the legislation into conformity with the new Criminal Code and the adoption of measures to combat crime and ensure public safety.
