State officials to be obliged to declare their expenses in Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. September 22. Silkroadnews – If earlier the government officials had to declare their incomes only, from now on they are also required to declare their expenses as well, the Jogorku Kenesh has approved the due legislative draft in the third reading, KyrTAG reports.

According to the changes made to the laws «On the status of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh», «On local state administrations», «On service career in customs bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic» and «On Combating Corruption», the state and municipal employees will be obliged to provide in details the declarations of all their expenses and sources of the funds in case, even if originated from abroad. The same rule will also be applied on the declarant's close relatives.
