Strengthening protection from external threats would be a priority for the CSTO in 2015

Almaty. November, 18. Silkroadnews - Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in the next year will focus on strengthening the mechanisms of protection from external threats, according to Tass.
As noted, the leaders of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Organization next year plan to begin development of a "roadmap" for the creation of such a system in the Central Asian region.
The meeting also summarize the main conducting joint activities of operational and combat training in 2014. In addition, participants discussed the improvement of the training of military personnel in the countries of the CSTO military schools.
According to the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Valery Semerikova, some of the issues that were discussed in Yekaterinburg, will be submitted for consideration to the Collective Security Council of Heads of State, which will be held on December 23, in Moscow.
