Strikes on the Syria should not lead to the deaths of civilians, said Ban Ki-moon

Almaty. October 2. Silkroadnews - UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon stated his awareness of the Russian air strikes on Syria and stressed that they should not lead to a breach of international humanitarian law, the wounded and the death of civilians, reported the UN news center.
The UN chief stressed that "any punches inflicted in Syria by any country, any party, shall be made in strict compliance with international humanitarian law and international law of human rights".
UN Secretary-General emphasized that without the support of the international community of the political process that meets the aspirations of the Syrian people, it is impossible to bring an end to the conflict and, ultimately, defeat the Islamic State.
