Students collect and transport stones away from city to prevent it from being used by protesters

Bishkek. April 9. Silkroadnews  – The stones are being collected and transported away from the city by the local students. This is done to prevent stones from being used by protesters. Such information with video evidence was posted online by the protest organisers.
The video shows students packing a lorry with stones collected at the national park. National Opposition Movement of Kyrgyzstan organised this event, as the local police chief, Melis Turganbayev, has declined to sign an agreement on provision of security during the rally. He reportedly declined to provide security for the protesters under the premise that rally’s organiser Mambetzhunus Abylov is currently being investigated in relation to criminal offence.
