“Tajik Air” pilot dies when his plane lands in Kazakh airport

Bishkek. May 22. Silkroadnews – “Tajik Air” pilot died as his plane landed in Aktobe airport in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Vladimir Bezborodniy, representative of airport management team.
“Boeing 575 that belonged to “Tajik Air” was landing at Aktobe airport to refuel at 9:31 pm on 15th of May. It was a “Dushanbe-Moscow” route”, he informed.
The back-up crew was resting and the pilot died in his passenger seat as the plane was landing.  The cause of death is a heart attack. One of the passengers turned out to be a doctor. He tried to provide first aid to a 54 year-old pilot Alexandr Zhobin”, Mister Bezborodniy explained.
The ambulance vehicle arrived right to the plane, but it was no longer necessary. Forensics confirmed heart attack to be the cause of death.
