Tajik President and the head of the RATS SCO discussed the issue of counter-terrorism

Dushanbe. July 29. Silkroadnews - Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (RATS SCO) Zhang Sinfen discuss cooperation, reports TajikTA.
"On July 29 President of RT met with the head of EC RATS. The sides discussed issues of cooperation in the direction of coordinating the fight against terrorism, extremism and other threats of the modern world"- says the publication.
Given the current situation in Afghanistan and the future of this country, in particular, they stressed the need to strengthen the fight not only against terrorism itself, but also against the factors that contribute to terrorism.
Particular attention was paid to the preparation for the Summit of Heads of SCO Member States, which will be held in September this year in Dushanbe. D.Sinfen expressed confidence that the measures implemented in the current year, will actively contribute to strengthen and expand cooperation in the framework of the organization, including the direction of the joint fight against terrorism.
