Tajik President and the Secretary of the Russian Security Council discussed the fight against terrorism

Almaty. October 17. Silkroadnews - President Emomali Rahmon discussed with Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev in Dushanbe cooperation in the sphere of security, reports TajikTA.
"At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia in the field of security", - says the publication on Friday.
According to information, special attention was paid to the present situation and the development of the situation in Afghanistan, as well as on strengthening the Tajik-Afghan border.
The two sides also discussed a conscientious struggle against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, weapons and improve information security.
The meeting also touched upon other issues related to security in the region and the world.
