Tajik President discussed cooperation with ex-Prime Minister of Malaysia

Dushanbe. June 25. Silkroadnews - Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met with former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad in Kuala Lumpur, said Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"E.Rahmon noted that Tajikistan knows former Prime Minister Mahathir Muhammad as an outstanding and successful politician and statesman of Malaysia, the Islamic world and the Asian continent," - said the agency's press-service of the President.
The sides expressed satisfaction for co-operation and new embassy of Tajikistan in Malaysia.
M.Muhammad expressed readiness to make efforts for the development of the Tajik-Malaysian relations in all possible directions. The two sides also discussed other issues of regional and international significance.
