Tajik President instructed the scientists to derive new early varieties of potatoes

According to the report of the president of Tajikistan Academy of Agricultural Sciences Izatullo Sattori about the course of selection works and zoning in the production of seed potato acreage of potatoes in all forms of economic management in the country for September 1 of the current year amounts to 36.3 thousand hectares.
According to him, per hectare should be obtained from 160 to 400 quintals of potatoes.
It is also noted that the branch institutes in 9 years of research activity inferred 8 new potato varieties.
