Tajikistan acceded to the Hague Convention on the abolition of apostille

Almaty. February 23. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan acceded to the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (Apostille Convention), reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
For Tajikistan the requirements of this document will enter the force from 31 October 2015.
According to the Tajik Ambassador, joining of Tajikistan to the Convention, primarily intends to improve the investment climate in the country and provide legal guarantees for domestic and foreign investors, as well as investments in various sectors of the economy of Tajikistan.
In particular, the RT is the 145th country to have joined the Apostille Convention.
As is well known, the International Convention Apostille abolishes the requirement of legalization for foreign public documents for the Member States of the Convention.
