Tajikistan and Afghanistan agreed to increase number of flights between the countries

Almaty. April 18. Silkroadnews – Tajikistan and Afghanistan have agreed to increase the frequency of flights between the countries, Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Monday.

“Aviation authorities of Tajikistan and Afghanistan agreed to increase the flight frequency between the two countries,” the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan informs.

It is noted that the agreement was reached by aviation authorities in the middle of last week in Dushanbe.
During the talks the sides signed a memorandum under which the airlines of two countries can carry out five flights per week (on a parity basis).

The memorandum also provides for the transit flights by the Tajik “Somon Air” which will carry out its first flight on April 29 on the route Dushanbe-Kabul-Dushanbe.
