Tajikistan and Afghanistan discussed the strengthening of parliamentary cooperation

Almaty. December 4. Silkroadnews - In Dushanbe, the representatives of the supreme legislative bodies of Tajikistan and Afghanistan in the debate called for the further development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, reports Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
"The discussion took place in Dushanbe, at the meeting of the Speaker of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (lower house of parliament) of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov with the Speaker of the National Council (parliament) of Afghanistan Abdul Rauf Ibrokhim. The parties were in favor of strengthening the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries", - says the publication.
Tajik parliament speaker congratulated R.Ibrohimi with the creation of a national unity government of Afghanistan and familiar with the structure and procedures of the Majlisi Oli.
In turn, the speaker of the National Council of Afghanistan noted that the Afghan Parliament is very valuable learning experience of the Tajik parliament.
