Tajikistan and Afghanistan urged to strengthen the joint fight against terrorism

Almaty. May 17. Silkroadnews – On Wednesday Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon met with the head of the Afghan National Directorate of Security Mohammed Masoom Stanekzai, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) writes.
“The parties spoke for strengthening the joint fight against terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking and discussed the strengthening of borders between the two states”, president’s press service reported.
The dialogue partners stressed the priority of developing friendly relations for their states’ foreign policy.
The key topic of the conversation covered various aspects of the Tajik-Afghan cooperation in the field of security.
