Tajikistan and Bashkortostan signed an agreement on trade
Almaty. October 7. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Bashkortostan signed an agreement on trade, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Wednesday.
The head of the CCI RT Sharif Said at a meeting with the delegation of the Russian Federation proposed to organize an exhibition in Dushanbe for goods of Bashkortostan, which will boost business cooperation on a bilateral basis.
CCI Vice-President of Bashkortostan Pavel Barmin also expressed interest in expanding foreign economic relations with the Republic of Tajikistan.
Trade and economic mission of Bashkortostan reviewed the issues of import to their region early vegetables and fruits from Tajikistan, fruit and vegetable processing, the creation of joint enterprises with a full cycle of cotton processing. In the opposite direction they are ready to supply agricultural equipment and machinery.
According to the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Tajikistan, the volume of trade between Tajikistan and Bashkortostan in 2014 amounted to $67.5 million.
