Tajikistan and China plan to hold a joint anti-drug operation
Almaty. April 27. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and China will hold the joint anti-drug operations in the seconf half of 2015, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Monday.
"The goal of operation - overlapping possible channels of drug smuggling, produced in Afghanistan through Tajikistan to China and the prevention of synthetic drugs and precursors in the opposite direction", - said the center of public relations DCA RT.
It is noted that agreement was reached at the meeting in Dushanbe by director of the agency for Drug Control RT (DCA) Rustam Nazarzoda and the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of China, headed by Assistant Minister, Mr. Liu Yuezin.
However, the parties agreed to further deepen bilateral cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking.
The head of the Chinese delegation for the development of this initiative proposed to continue the practice of exchanging information and delegations, to create a channel of direct communication between the departments. He also noted that China is willing to send experts to Tajikistan in the field of drug control, to render all possible assistance in training the DCA employees within the SCO.
