Tajikistan and China signed 24 cooperation documents

Almaty. September 4. Silkroadnews – Tajikistan and China signed 24 documents on cooperation, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reports on Monday.
24 new cooperation documents have been signed following the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the People’s Republic of China, press service of the head of the state said.
In particular, 13 interstate documents were signed following leaders of two states’ meeting, among them a joint declaration on comprehensive strategic partnership, program on cooperation, etc.
A number of documents were signed after Tajikistan president’s talks with senior officials of a number of Chinese companies and financial institutions.
According to the agency, a $79 million loan agreement was signed between the government of Tajikistan and the Export-Import Bank of China on construction of a high-voltage power transmission line of 500 kV in the districts of the republican subordination, along with several memorandums on scientific and technical cooperation in agriculture, nuclear technologies and aviation, cooperation between large companies in the fields of investment, road construction, etc.
