Tajikistan and EU Envoy discuss cooperation plans for 2014-2020

Dushanbe. June 11. Silkroadnews - Tajik Foreign Affairs Minister Sirodjin Aslov met with the EU Special Envoy for Central Asia Janos Herman in Dushanbe. The parties discussed basic directions of EU-Tajikistan cooperation in various area. The also discussed future prospects for further cooperation between 2014 and 2020, as Tajik MFA informs.
Special attention was devoted to the issues of border strengthening, water resource management, energy and cooperation in the area of environment.
The aspects of Afghanistan’s integration in regional cooperation were also touched upon.
