Tajikistan and Iran signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of security

Almaty. February 19. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Iran signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of security, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
In accordance with the signed document, the parties agreed to cooperate in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, money laundering and illicit arms trafficking and smuggling. The parties also agreed to cooperate in strengthening border security with Afghanistan, which is a global manufacturer of opium drug.
Recall that Prime Minister of RT, R. Rahimzoda arrived in Tehran on Wednesday evening.
