Tajikistan and Iran will strengthen cooperation in the field of economy and security

Almaty. August 12. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Iran will strengthen cooperation in the field of economy and security, according to Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) on Tuesday.
"The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received Minister of Information Security of Iran Mahmoud Alavi. During the meeting they discussed current issues and prospects of Tajik-Iranian relations", - the press-service of the President.
In particular, they focused on security cooperation and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the relevant agencies.
It was noted that Tajikistan and Iran can contribute to peace and stability in the region, including in Afghanistan.
