Almaty. June 4. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan established a joint board of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
The agreement will give impetus to cooperation between law enforcement agencies, will raise the level of partnership in the interest of security of the two countries to a new level.
At the talks the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the relations between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are developing successfully at both bilateral and multilateral levels, in particular in the framework of the CIS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization. According to him, this cooperation is aimed at ensuring security and stability in the region.
In turn, the head of the Kyrgyz Interior Ministry said that his department is always ready for mutually beneficial cooperation with the Tajik colleagues in the fight against crime.
