Tajikistan and Switzerland have agreed to implement the project on Intellectual Property

Dushanbe. June 19. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Switzerland signed a memorandum on the project on intellectual property, according to the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO), the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade ofRT and the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Tajik-Swiss project on intellectual property," - said the agency.
The project cost is estimated at 1 million Swiss francs, which will be provided by the Government of Switzerland.
The Memorandum defines the terms of cooperation, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the parties for the management and implementation of the Tajik-Swiss project on intellectual property.
This project is the first project in the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of intellectual property.
According to the report, the project is based on the strategic cooperation of Tajikistan and Switzerland and aims to support the activities of the relevant authorities in the field of intellectual property in Tajikistan.
The project will be implemented over three years.
