Tajikistan and the Saudi Fund for Development discussed the schools project funding schedule

Almaty. November 1. Silkroadnews – Tajikistan and the Saudi Fund for Development discussed the new schools project funding schedule, TajikTA reports.

“In the course of the meeting held in Dushanbe Tajikistan’s Finance Minister Abdusalom Kurboniyon and members of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) delegation headed by Abdullah al Hovayter discussed the position on the new agreement of the fourth stage of the project for the construction and equipment of schools, agreed on a schedule of financing and terms of preparation and signing of the appropriate agreement in this regard”, the secretariat of the country’s finance ministry informs.

As a result, the parties have agreed to hold further meetings to discuss the prospective projects for the social and economic development of Tajikistan.

To remind, the project for the construction and equipment of schools, funded by the Saudi Fund for Development, covers nine schools in the Khatlon region of the country.
