Tajikistan and Turkmenistan signed a series of cooperation documents

Almaty. August 20. Silkroadnews - On August 20 as a result of talks between the delegations of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in Ashkhabad signed five documents on cooperation, reports the Tajik news agency on Thursday.
Thus, the parties signed an agreement on cooperation between the Committee on Television and Radio under the Government of Tajikistan and the State Committee for Television Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan, a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Library of Tajikistan and State Library Cultural Center of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan in the field of books, a cooperation agreement between ministries of health of 2 countries, foreign ministries cooperation program for 2016-2017, a joint communique of presidents of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Also Rahmon today will get acquainted with the construction of "Olympic Village" in the capital of Turkmenistan, which is being built for the 5th Asian Games in 2017.
Tajikistan has high hopes for the execution of the Turkmenistan - China gas pipeline, an agreement of which was reached in 2014 between the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and the joint-stock company "Tochiktransgaz".
According to official statistics, over 6 months in 2015 the volume of trade between the two countries amounted to more than $55 million.
It was reported that Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon arrived on Wednesday for a working visit to Ashgabat.
