Tajikistan and Uzbekistan agreed to reduce tariffs on transit of goods

Almaty. November 5. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Uzbekistan reduced tariffs for the transit of goods, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
So, in the beginning of the third decade of October the joint-stock company "Uzbekistan Temir Yollari" (Uzbekistan Railways hearse), announced the reduction of tariffs for the transit of goods on a number of products in three railway stations.
The Uzbek side proposed reducing coefficient at 0.85 points for the transportation of petroleum products, alumina and aluminum on the rail sections Kudukli-Keles and Kudukli-Karakalpakstan.
It was also proposed to cancel the increasing ratio of 1.83 at the railway section Boldir-Kudukli. Reduction of transit cargo by rail to Uzbekistan is valid from October 15 to December 31 this year.
The proposal to reduce railway tariffs intended to lead to the development of cargo transportation between the two countries.
