Tajikistan continues the special operation against the terrorist group, led by ex-deputy defense minister

Almaty. September 7. Silkroadnews - In Tajikistan, during a special operation arrested 26 terrorists, 17 liquidated, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"On September 6, during the joint special operations of the Interior Ministry and the National Security Committee of Tajikistan were neutralized four members of the criminal group of Nazarzoda Abduhalim Mirzo (Hdzhi Halim). Also, 7 members of the group were detained, seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition, including 18 automatic "AKM", 50 shops and a variety of ammunition",- the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Security Committee of Tajikistan.
Thus, in total as a result of anti-terrorist operation conducted by the security forces of Tajikistan, today arrested 26 militants, killed 17.
Meanwhile, General Abduhalim Nazarzoda and his followers are still hiding in the Ramit Gorge. Special operation of power structures to eliminate terrorist groups continues.
It also reported that, on suspicion of involvement in armed attacks, detained former law enforcement officers who are currently retired. According to the MIA, they knew about the plan of attack, but have not informed the police.
Recall, on September 4 organized criminal group under the leadership of former Deputy Defense minister Nazarzoda Abduhalim Mirzo, who is a member of the Islamic Renaissance Party of Tajikistan, carried out an armed attack on the police department in the city of Vahdat, central apparatus of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan. As a result of this terrorist group was seized a significant amount of weapons and ammunition, killing nine police officers, 6 employees were injured.
