Tajikistan denounces agreement on simplified citizenship with Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. June 28. Silkroadnews – Tajikistan denounces agreement with Kyrgyzstan on a simplified procedure for citizenship acquiring, Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Tuesday.

“Tajikistan denounces agreement with Kyrgyzstan on a simplified procedure for citizenship acquiring,” the publication says.

Before leaving for their summer recess the Parliamentary Council of Tajikistan’s Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli will consider issues on termination of the agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on a simplified procedure for acquiring citizenship, as well as denunciation of two countries’ agreement providing Tajikistan citizens with right of renunciation of Tajikistan’s citizenship under the simplified procedure and also giving a simplified procedure for their acquisition of citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Besides, the Board’s members will also consider draft Housing Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the law “On Seismic Safety” and issues related to the amendments to the laws “On radioactive substances”, “On public holidays” and “On state regulation of production and trade on certain types of mineral oil”.
