Tajikistan exports electricity to Kyrgyzstan for 2.5 cents per 1 kW / h
Almaty. August 7. Silkroadnews - "Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in early June signed a contract for the supply of Tajik electricity for 2.5 cents per kW/h. The daily volume of electricity exports to the neighboring country amounts to 1.5 million kW/h. According to the contract, Tajikistan must supply to Kyrgyzstan 500 million kW/h of electricity in summer",- said the open joint-stock holding company "Barki Tojik".
Lower price for exported electricity to Kyrgyzstan, "Barki Tojik" motivated for surplus of electricity and idle water discharge.
