Tajikistan handed over to the British Museum nearly 70 national exhibits

Almaty. October 15. Silkroadnews - "The collection of national artifacts of Tajikistan - items of clothing, musical instruments, old kitchenware and household items (total 67 subjects) was transferred to the British Museum", - informed the department of the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan.
The collection of exhibits from Tajikistan will be represented at the show in this museum.
Initiative to hold such an exhibition was proposed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov during a visit to the British Museum during his visit to the UK in July 2014.
This initiative will help to establish links between museums of Tajikistan and the British Museum and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in the cultural sphere, said the Foreign Ministry.
