Tajikistan has adopted the national strategy for 2030
Almaty. October 3. Silkroadnews – Tajikistan has adopted the national development strategy for the next 15 years, during which the country's economy is to make a transition from the agrarian to the industrial-agrarian mode, TajikTA writes.
«The participants of the regular meeting of the Government of Tajikistan the president Emomali Rakhmon held in Dushanbe adopted the second National Development Strategy of the country for the period of 2030», the publication says.
The 2030 Strategy states the development of human potential, competitiveness of the economy and increase in the share of industry in GDP as top priorities for Tajikistan.
The document, besides, sets objectives to provide for the country's high literacy rate, living conditions and life expectancy, reducing child and maternal mortality, solving problems of employment, sustainable support of the country's micro- and macro-economic development rates within the terms specified.
To achieve the objectives of the country's strategy, as the head of the state has noted, it will be necessary to move from the agrarian toward the industrial-agrarian sector, tripling the volume of energy production from 17 to 45 billion kW/h.
In addition, the key to the implementation of Tajikistan's 2030 strategy, according to E. Rakhmon, is the practical implementation of measures on three the most important areas: bringing the country out of communication isolation, achieving energy independence and providing for food security.
