Tajikistan has launched a scientific station to study processes of climate and flora changes
Almaty. July 4. Silkroadnews – Tajikistan launched a new scientific research station, Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reports.
“A new scientific research station, located at the height of 2.5 thousand meters above sea level started its operation in the town of Chelondeh of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region,” the publication says.
Built in accordance with the agreement between the Academies of Sciences of Tajikistan and China the station, with modern equipment, is working in the study of climate change processes, composition of the soil, flora and fauna.
“Additional equipment will be delivered to the station in the near future,” officials of Tajikistan’s Science Academy inform.
