Tajikistan has supressed 4 attempts of armed penetraions from the border with Afghanistan

Almaty. August 4. Silkroadnews - "Over the past few days, the security organs of Tajikistan together with border guards thwarted four armed attempts to break the Tajik-Afghan border. Eliminated four drug smugglers, seized nearly 330 kg of drugs and several weapons",- said the center of public relations of the State Committee of National Security (SCNS).
According to the committee, a transnational criminal group planned to organize the smuggling of large quantities of drugs, using one of the sensitive areas in the Moscow direction of the Tajik-Afghan border. During the arrest the smugglers and members of the security of Tajikistan clashed, as a result, two trespassers were liquidated, two others escaped in a contiguous territory. At the site of the incident were discovered 11 bags with 275 kg of hashish.
