Tajikistan has suspended the activities of Individual's currency exchange offices

Almaty. April 17. Silkroadnews - "National Bank of Tajikistan has decided to suspend the activities of individual exchange offices", - said the press center of the National Bank of the country.
According to the order of the bank, activities of exchangers are suspended since April 17.
This measure is taken in order to ensure stability in the foreign exchange market to support the national currency and to protect the interests of customers of credit institutions.
According to the order of the main regulator of the country, all credit institutions must documentaly fix every case of realization of currency to citizens.
Currently, $1 is exchanged at the rate of 6.33 somoni, while a week it was 6.27 somoni.
