Almaty. January 28. Silkroadnews - In Tajikistan in 2014, were built and put into operation seven small hydropower plants, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
So, in 2014, were built and put HPP "Pitavkul" (capacity of 1.1 thousand kW), "Marzich" (4.3 thousand kW), "Sangikar" (1 thousand KW), "Shirkent" (576 kW ), "Shashboloi" (183 kW), "Khorma" (180 kW), and "Fathabad" (282 kW).
Among the 300 small hydro power plants, which were built in the Republic of Tajikistan to date, 170 stations are forced to stand in the winter, as erected in places, where water in the winter does not reach the required level for their work.
