Tajikistan is interested in agricultural technologies of Israel

Almaty. May 13. Silkroadnews - Israeli Ambassador to Tajikistan Carmela Shamir discussed with the head of the Sughd region Abdurahmon Kodiri the interest of agrarians in the advanced agricultural technologies of Israel, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"The sides expressed readiness to expand cooperation between Tajikistan and Israel. In particular, the priority among the possible areas of cooperation in Sughd was given to agrarian sector",- informed the agency in the press-service of the Chairman of Sughd region.
Ambassador was informed about the achievements in the sphere of agrarian reforms that are being implemented in the region over the last 2 years. Also, the diplomat got familiarized with the initiative to revive folk crafts such as carpet weaving and manual production of adras and satin.
Also, the Israeli ambassador interested in development of cooperation in tourism, culture and the exchange of goods.
C. Shamir also intends to visit the free economic zone (FEZ) "Sughd", the town Sayhun, LLC "VT-SILC" cultural and historical complex "Khujand fortress".
