Tajikistan may prohibit foreigners to participate in meetings

Dushanbe. June 26. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan may impose a ban on the participation of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the rallies, protests and demonstrations, according to the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"According to the amendments approved by the relevant legislation in the protests may only participate Tajik citizens who have obtained the relevant permits, specifying the number of protesters," - says the publication on Thursday.
Protesters will not be allowed to close their faces to establish their identity. The action organizers undertake the responsibility in case of violation of public order. They also take on the compensation for the damage in case of breach of public order.
In addition, the protesters are prohibited from using weapons and explosives.
According to these amendments the protesters in the stipulated time frame should leave the scene of the action.
Approved amendments will come into force after the approval by the Senate with futher signing by the President and publication.
