Tajikistan received from Kyrgyzstan $3.6 million for electricity imports in first 9 months
Almaty. October 7. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan paid for the import of electricity to Tajikistan about $3.6 million, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Wednesday.
"Supplies of electricity from Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan halted with the beginning of October. In June and September this year, Kyrgyzstan received 146.6 million kW/h of electricity from Tajikistan, thereby paying for imports about $3.6 million", - says the publication.
The total volume of exported electricity from Tajikistan for the first nine months of this year amounted to more than 1 billion kW/h. In particular, 850 million kW/h were delivered to Afghanistan and about 150 million kW/h - in Kyrgyzstan.
