Tajikistan's foreign trade in the I quarter decreased by 11.8% to $ 966.2 million

Almaty. April 14. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan's foreign trade in the first quarter of 2015 totaled to $966.2 million, repopted the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"This is 11.8% less than the same period in 2014", - said in a statement referring to the report of the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.
In particular, the trade balance was negative and amounted to $537.2 million. In January-March 2015, Tajikistan had trade relations with 72 countries of the world.
Exports of goods totaled to $214.5 million, up 12.7% or $24.2 million higher than the same period in 2014.
Imports of goods in Tajikistan amounted to $751.7 million, up 16.9% or $153.3 million less than in January - March 2014.
The main trade partners of Tajikistan in the first quarter of 2015 are Russia ($266 million), Kazakhstan ($160 million) and Switzerland ($104 million).
