Tajikistan to revive pomegranate gardens

Almaty, March 14. Silkroadnews - Pomegranate gardens are to appear in Sogdia Province, TajikTA reports.
“The 10 hectares gardens is being planned in Mastchinsk District of Sodia Province”, spokesperson of the Province’s administration said.
It is planned to purchase 11 000 of seedlings from Julikul District of Khatlon Province for these purposes.
Moreover, the 1 hectare pomegranate garden “Yakhezoda” in dekhan lands is already being planted.
