Taliban militants killed adviser to Prime Minister of Afghanistan
Beijing. February 26. Silkroadnews - On Saturday night Taliban militants killed senior advisor to the premier Rafiullah Gul Afgan, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
“Rafiullah Gul Afghan, a former deputy speaker of the Senate, a member of Jamiat-i-Islami political party, was shot dead in Khair Khana area, north of Kabul. His guard was also killed in the shooting,” 1TVNews.af reported.
The press service of Abdullah Abdullah confirmed the information on the death of the adviser. According to the statement, the Afghan authorities instructed law enforcement agencies to immediately detain the murders.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the assassination.
