Tashkent presented the Eurasian Economic Union

Almaty. June 27. Silkroadnews - Tashkent presented the Eurasian Economic Union, reported Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"Tashkent hosted a joint briefing of three embassies - Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, dedicated to signing the contract on the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Community (EEC)" - said in a statement on Friday.
"EEC is a new integration organization, which signed an agreement on May 29, 2014 in Astana by Presidents of  Kazakhstan, Republic of Belarus and Russian Federation. It became a platform for this experience of the functioning of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space ", - said the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Boribay Zheksembin.
Speaking at the briefing, Ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan Klakevich Nicholas noted that the Belarusian position - is based on the formation of EEC on full Customs Union without exceptions and limitations. It was stressed that Belarus is supports the positions of the alliance partners against yet available unwillingness to open certain sectors of the economy for equivalent work of other participants of the integration project (primarily in relation to energy and the liberalization of road transport).
For some items of mutual trade the contract provided transition periods until 2025, including areas such as formation of common markets for crude oil and petroleum products, gas, electricity, transport services.
"The document displays the interaction of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia to a new level, fully maintaining state sovereignty" - said the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan Vladimir Tyurdenev.
