Tashkent will build thermal power plant with a capacity of 108 MW

Almaty. April 1. Silkroadnews - In Yunusobod region of Tashkent in the next five years it is planned to build a new cogeneration thermal power plant, reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"The new facility will appear at an abandoned area adjacent to the territory of the district heating №4. The power plant will be equipped with four modern gas turbines with a capacity of 27 MW, which will reduce noise and vibration impacts on residential buildings through the use of a number of technological anti-noise technology and significantly reduce harmful emissions into the environment", - reported the press-service of "Uzbekenergo".
The project will be funded by a soft loan of the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
