Tashkent will open innovation center of Textile Technology
Tashkent. June 18. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan and South Korea are planning to create an innovation center of textile technology in Tashkent, said Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"Representatives of both countries signed a memorandum of understanding to establish an innovation center of textile technology. By mutual agreement, it will be created on the basis of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry", - reorted the press-service of" Uzbekyengilsanoat".
The textile industry is one of the priority areas of bilateral cooperation. In this sphere Uzbekistan together with South Korean partners performed 10 joint projects amounting to $212 million
Collaboration with the company "Daewoo International", allowed to launch the textile enterprises in the Fergana and Bukhara regions, "Shindong Enerkom" and "Textile Teknolozhiz" in Surkhandarya region.
